In this online Inclusive Spaces event Nai Lee Kalema and Felicity Atekpe explore the importance of decolonial, intersectional, and other social justice frameworks in the rise of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI). The lecture covers case studies that uncover the potential impact of digital technologies to exacerbate – or alleviate – racial inequity and global inequality, and enable decolonial futures, as well as “Restorative Futures” which champion change by addressing emerging trends and challenges, technological advancements, and evolving socio-political landscapes within and across built environment policy.
